The resulting SQL queries can then be 1)asscd to an already existing SQL interpreter. Mining Generalized Association Rules and Sequential Patterns Using SQL Queries

Database integration of mining is becoming increasingly important with tile installation of larger and larger data warehouses built around relational database technology. Most of the commercially available mining systems integrate loosely (typically, through an ODBC or SQL cursor interface) with data stored in DBMSs. In cases where the mining algorithm makes nmltiple passes over the data, it is...

A Web Based Tool for Accessing Distributed Relational Databases through Multilingual Fuzzy Interface

Most of the relational database systems use SQL, which has strict syntax and semantics defined precisely to retrieve data. Sometimes, user may not be aware of SQL syntax and concepts and wants to use databases without any technical effort. In recent years, an increasing number of people have begun to realize the need for a technology to reach beyond the barriers of SQL. Some of papers have give...

An Intelligent Interface for relational databases

In the present computing world, most new-generation database applications demand intelligent interface to enhance efficient interactions between database and the users. The most accessible interfaces for databases must be intelligent and able to understand natural language expressions. In this paper mapping of natural language queries to SQL is discussed. We propose a general architecture for a...

The IFA corpus: a phonemically segmented dutch "open source" speech database

An open source database of hand-segmented Dutch speech was constructed with off-the-shelf software using speech from 8 speakers in a variety of speaking styles. For a total of 50,000 words, speech acquisition and preparation took around 3 person-weeks per speaker. Hand segmentation took 1,000 hours of labeling altogether. The asymptotic segmentation speed was about one word, or four boundaries,...

A Survey: Natural Language Interface to Databases

Information p lays an important role in our everyday life and databases are widely used for storing and retrieving informat ion. Database technology is having major impact in the world of computing. To access the informat ion from database one need to have knowledge of database query language such as SQL. Because the naïve user may not be aware of the syntax of SQL and structure of database, s/...
